Sugar cookies are a wonderful tradition this time of year. These felt sugar cookies make a wonderful gift or stocking stuffers for the little baker in your family. Each cookie is made of a wool-blend felt and is pretty much life size (about 5″). Each cookie is decorated with a variety of small goodies, so I recommend your baker being at least 3 years old.

Your little bun will look adorable in this slouchy, newsboy cap in beautiful cornflower blue. Size can be custom ordered and has some stretch in the band. The sides will keep tips of little ears warm and the brim will protect little eyes from the sun. The brim is easy-stash. Although it holds its shape while being worn, it does not have an insert so it will reshape easily. Just some gentle tugs will get it back to shape. Crocheted from a very soft yarn that is 50% cotton and 50% acrylic.  May also be done in 100% cotton.

For a little splash of color, the earrings have red faceted rounds and red flat oblongs. This set is great for the winter and upcoming holiday season. Keep it for yourself or turn into 3 gifts.

My favorite time of year; snow, sweaters and silent dark nights. These two Winter Bundle Bears are a lot of fun for any little one because they can “dress up”. Blue fleece mittens, boots and cap, mauve fleece mittens, boots and cap, and cream polar fleece mittens, boots, cap and scarf provide mix and match pieces that are all removable. (*mauve mittens are inside cap)

Enjoy the cooler weather and let your bears bundle up too! One bear is blue, cotton print, with snowflakes of cream and blue. The bear’s friend is creamy polar fleece.

Maddie & Me

This is another unique 4 in 1 outfit that can be worn with pants or as a dress alone and since its reversible and the pants go with both sides you really get a lot of outfits in this one.  The appliqued snowman is of same quilted material as seen on the bodice of the reverse side with the red and green plaid. He has buttons for eyes and a stitched smile. Dress and pants both have eyelet trim.

THIS SET HAS BEEN SOLD, BUT SEND ME A MESSAGE AND I CAN MAKE ONE SIMILAR FOR YOU!

When I think of winter, snow of course is on the top of the list. This beret is in honor of the snow. Watching the flakes fall or catching them on your tongue. So here’s to the snow, the simple beauty of snow-capped mountains. And now your snow-capped noggin to keep the chill at bay.

 challengememoriestoyou.bmp

Memories To You

A beautiful blue and cream Kaffe Fassett fabric covers this 12”x16” memory board. Ice blue satin ribbons will hold your pictures in place. The finishing touch is a button in the center in a matching fabric. Simply slide your photographs or other mementos between the ribbon and fabric and they will stay in place. Or, simply use the board as a decoration in any room. This board has a saw tooth hanger on both the horizontal and vertical side. To finish the board, there is a felt backing to not only protect your wall but the board as well.

 challengemirkah.JPG

Mirkah

A warm and unique hat crocheted from double yarn in different shades of light celery and forest greens. The front has a cute detail with a strap and button. Perfect as a gift or to wear yourself on the days cooling off into fall and winter.
Due to its crocheted nature, the hat is stretchy so it should fit any normal sized adult head. The yarn is acrylic that can be machine washed and dried at low temperatures.

Mommy’s Little Helper

This soap has real 100% Frankincense, Myrrh and Gold in it! I have included true Ethiopian Myrrh in it which has antibacterial qualities and offers a bit of exfoliating and it also has Frankincense and Myrrh Resins in it. The soap is scented with Frankincense, Myrrh and Sandalwood fragrance oils. I have used honey with my clear glycerin soap to add moisture to the skin. This is the best gift I can think of for that person who has everything, a bar of soap with all three of the gifts that were given to the baby Jesus.

Moose Threads

Using a combination of soft chenille white, silvery cotton and ice blue acrylic yarn I ‘upcycled’ this basic pair of little girl bike shorts, by sewing on a whimsical skirt just below the waistline.
I used a a fan stitch to create an illusion of snowflakes kissed by a morning frost. This skort is the perfect accessory for any little girl’s wardrobe no matter the season.
Layer with a pair of tights to provide an added touch of warmth and color.

This scarf is a great addition to your already wild-expressive
wardrobe. It is approximately 42″ long and 4″ wide. The beaded trim
is 2″ long. Its made from 100% cotton Designer fabrics and lined
with quilt batting. It has a buttonhole to slide one end of the
scarf through, instead of tying it. I have two rows of beading on
there, one brown and one wine color. You can wear it with one end
over your shoulder or wear it with both beaded ends draped in front
of your body. Stay WARM! ~from ReannaLily Designs~

Sometimes the scrap basket yields the best surprises. Such is the case with the “Hoppin’ into Winter” scarf. This luxurious neck-warmer is a treat for the senses, featuring a variety of interesting textures: ribbed corduroy, super-soft minky, cozy polar fleece, and crinkly cotton.

It’s generously proportioned, measuring 60″ long by 8.5″ wide. Double stitching gives it added style and durability.

And if, like us, you’re concerned about the environment, you can rest assured, every piece of this fabulous creation came from our collection of post-consumer materials, making it not only beautiful but ecofriendly as well.”

Rozzi’s Sweet Peas

This is the coolest handmade dress. Check out these neat pockets. The dress is made of white micro-suede fabric with Satin and Gauze Ribbon ties. This darling dress is perfect for Winter Holidays, Parties, any special occasion this Winter.
It reminds me of ‘pockets full of presents’ and so I made it to go with the red/white striped knit top and leggings. The knit top has neckline detail with slight gathering. She can wear this to school for the holidays and ROCK. This is a child size 7.
This Asian Inspired Peasant Dress is soil and stain protect-ant(scotch-guard).

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow! 2 crystal snowflakes dangle from sterling silver chain to make some fun and fabulous earrings. They are on Bali silver fishhook style ear wires. They can be adjusted to length but currently are about 2 inches long. Watch the light shine through and shimmer.

“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh.”

Our “Three Kings Soap” is one of our very favorite soaps. A large, 6-ounce bar made from scratch with luscious cocoa butter as the main ingredient, this soap is scented with frankincense and myrrh fragrance oil and features swirls of white with gold mica. This is a limited-edition soap, and we only make one batch of these bars each year.

challengeteristreasure.jpg

Teri’s Treasure

The Alaskan Snowflakes table-runner is a delightful touch to bring in the Winter season! Pieced sporadically with 3 different fabrics all different sizes. I then cut 5 large snowflakes out of white fleece and pieced them about the table-runner. The snowflakes are blanket stitched, hand embroidered with a silver thread and hand stitched silver beads at the tips of each snowflake. Hand quilted around the snowflakes and then a machine echo quilting working out from each snowflake. Handed binded. Measures 16.5 x 35.5 inches. Original design, no patterns or templates used. For more detailed photos of this item, check out my shop!

A perfect compliment to your holiday wardrobe, whether it be an evening gown or your favorite blue jeans and blazer! Measures 18-1/2″s; finished with a handmade organic Thai silver s-hook clasp. The colors of this gemstone remind me of a gentle night-time snowfall.
I’ve wire wrapped Snowflake Obsidian rondelles to a delicate sterling silver chain. Necklace closure is a sterling lobster clasp. I’ve added a couple of sterling beads next to the clasp to give you a little something to hold on to while fastening the necklace.
This is the perfect piece to remind you or someone special of the magic of winter snowfall.

challengetriquetradesigns.jpg

Triquetra Designs

I’ve been married to my USAF husband for 2 years and it drives him crazy each winter when we don’t get any snow! This piece was designed to show a little bit of the snow we don’t ever see. An adorable winter scene, this mixed media piece measures 4.5″ by 6.5″. The piece is created using a heavy cardstock base, several types of paper, glitter and a stamped message. The back has a blank piece of paper for your own message. Everything used is acid-free to create a long lasting piece of art suitable for framing.

challengetwoseasidebabes.JPG

Two Seaside Babes

Crocheted with 100% soft and silky polyamide, this adorable Moose is sure to be a delightful accompaniment to your Winter décor. 17” in height, this plush stuffed animal is crocheted from my own pattern in cream and gold to match almost any Winter theme in your home. Attached is a gold plaid satin bow, which can be easily removed if your little one decides to keep it as their own. This lovable Moose is completely child safe, as there are no small parts to choke on, and has wired antlers that can be molded for extra fun.

challengewastenotwhimsy.jpg

Waste Not Whimsy

Snowy white faux pearls are accented with frosty light blue acrylic faceted beads and silver tone findings in this lovely bracelet and earring set. The bracelet is 7.5 inches (19 cm) long and closes with a heart-shaped toggle. The earrings dangle 1.25 inches (3 cm) below the bottom of the ear wires. These pieces are made of reclaimed beads and chain to keep landfills from filling up unnecessarily. This beautiful wintery set would be the perfect accent for your holiday outfit!
