When Two Must Serve.

Deployments and separations can be hard on any family but when you add the challenges of the dual enlisted marriage there are whole new set of road blocks and obstacles thrown in the way. It is possible to be successful at both work and home but this takes time, communication and goals. Making sure you know your priorities and keep them in the foreground can help when times get rough. The military has established programs to help keep the couples stationed together like Married Army Couples Program (MACP) and the Military Joint Spouse Program. Although they do their best sometimes separations are inevitable. Life as a dual military couple is not all long hugs good bye and long work hours. There are a great deal of rewards. Never having to worry if your job will carry over to the new duty station, having a companion with the knowledge of your work and understanding of your commitment and some financially benefits in pay and retirement.  While no one will tell you it is easy, with all the right ingredients a dual  military household can flourish and succeed…. Having a happy household, family, and promising career.

If your are a Dual Military Couple, please share your story in the comments section of this post. Thank you =)

  2. I adore Mirkah’s green crochet hat! My favorite, but it was hard to narrow it down to just one choice.
